When my husband and I started dating, he played Everlong for me and said “I’ve been saving this song for a special girl”. Eight years later, we have two kids and still love us some Foo Fighters. He has “Everlong” engraved in his wedding ring & I have it tattooed on my foot. We saw the Foos last October at the Forum in LA, a day before our sixth wedding anniversary. I’m pretty sure Dave was singing Everlong to us. ;)

This is my first Foo Fighters’ tatoo but not the last one.

I’ve been a huge Foo Fighters fan since 1995 when Dave put together the self-titled album. I’ve been a Dave Grohl fan even longer … since his Scream and Nirvana days.
Last year for my birthday, I saw them in Denver. I had a giant sign that read “Hey Dave, it’s my birthday!” I had almost given up hope he would see it (we were in the pit, pretty close to the front) until the final song of the encore … Everlong! It just so happens Everlong is my favorite song.
